Marriage Registration can also be done for any marriage already celebrated. The Marriage can be registered under the Special Marriage Act after giving a public notice of 30 days, subject to conditions. However, as stated above, the bridegroom and the bride must have completed 21 years and 18 years of age respectively.

The following documents are required for Marriage Registration in Ghaziabad as per Hindu Marriage Act:
- Passport Size Color Photographs (Bride, Groom and two witness)(3 photos for each)
- Date of Birth (10th cert/PAN/Passport) (any one document)

If marriage did not take place in Ghaziabad but you have Voter ID Card, Passport or Aadhar of Ghaziabad, still it can be registered in Ghaziabad. Otherwise, Domicile Certificate is required.
Note: Witness may be anyone i.e. friends, relatives or colleagues. Age should be above 21 years.
Marriage Registration is governed by two different Acts. Hindu Marriage Act and Special Marriage Act. Where are the couple (both Husband/Groom and Wife/Bride) are Hindu, their Marriage Registration is done as per Hindu Marriage Act. Otherwise, as per Special Marriage Registration Act. We can assist you only in case of Hindu Marriage Registration. The religion Hindu as per "Hindu Marriage Act" includes Hindu, Sikh, Jain and Buddhists. For Special Marriage Registration one may please approach / Visit District Court in Ghaziabad.
ALL THE ABOVE DOCUMENTS HAVE TO BE ARRANGED BY CLIENT ONLY. We do not create any documents except application form and required affidavits.THREE SETS OF ALL ABOVE MENTIONED DOCUMENTS ARE REQUIRED. Wife, Husband and witnesses are required to visit the Registrar Office for Marriage Registration.
